A Letter from EMS Closet

An open letter to the St. John's Family

Dear Members of St. John’s,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.  On behalf of EMS Closet, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous support over the last two years.  We are immensely thankful for the opportunity to house our operations in Heyward Hall, and we wanted to take a moment to convey our heartfelt appreciation.

Your willingness to provide us with the space has not only eased the logistical challenges that our non-profit was facing, but has also enabled us to better fulfill our mission.  We believe that the work we do to provide clothing to students in Richland County aligns with the values of inclusivity, compassion and community engagement that St. John’s has demonstrated over the years.

The practical support we have received, including building usage, clothing drives, volunteer support, and donations, has allowed us to serve the community more efficiently and effectively.  It’s through partnerships like this that we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in need.  We are deeply touched by the kindness and generosity that you have shown us, and we look forward to a continued positive relationship with the St. John’s community.

Once again, thank you for your warm hospitality and support.  We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to work alongside you in making a positive impact on our community.

With heartfelt thanks,

Tommie Wingate
