Education Equals Hope

You can give hope to children in Haiti, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Kenya, and Rwanda!

St. John’s is partnering with Education Equals Hope through a “Back to School” campaign, giving parishioners an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children living in desperate and difficult situations!

For only $39 a month you can support the education of one child. We are starting our “Back to School” campaign from Mother’s Day, May 12 through Father’s Day, June 16. We encourage you to make donations to cover an entire year, giving a child a chance to further their education without having to worry about support going away in the middle of their school year.

Please consider making a donation in honor of a special child or children close to you in your life. Donations may be made online through Education Equals Hope’s secure web site: or by returning a pledge form with a check or credit card information.

Education Equals Hope, based in Fort Mill, SC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization co-founded by Cameron Vivanco when she was sent to Ecuador as a missionary from the Diocese of Upper South Carolina. E=H is also the organization through which St. John’s and many other churches in our diocese send mission teams to other countries during the summer.
