Michelle Rabon is our Director of Parish Operations. She manages the area of Administration which includes finance, communications, membership, property maintenance, IT management, and human resources. She has seven brilliant full-time and part-time staff members on her team whom she collaborates with daily to ensure the operations of St. John’s run smoothly. She negotiates and reviews contracts, tracks expenses, writes, edits, posts, acts as the personnel resource for staff, prepares HVAC schedules, and coordinates non-profit rentals. Michelle prepares and implements campaigns, reports, projects, and communications materials as directed and in alignment with the leadership of the church using a variety of methods to reach the parish and wider church community. Staff recently launched a newly upgraded version of our church’s management software called ShelbyNext, designed and built a new website, online calendar and mobile membership App. Michelle gives oversight with the Property Ministry Team on repairs and renovations to the grounds and facility, managing contractors and vendors. She works closely with Parish Events, ECW Guilds, Men of St. John’s, the Good News Committee, Family Promise, the Capital Budget Committee, Keenagers and Vestry.
